The Grenadier You Can Sleep In
One-of-a-kind on our lot: a 2025 Grenadier Station Wagon 1924 Limited Edition, converted with the Alu-Cab Silenus pop-top roof. Basecamp included.
Stock GS143 · Alu-Cab Silenus Build
Every so often a build comes through our Framingham showroom that deserves its own stage. This Grenadier's factory roof has been replaced — not topped — with Alu-Cab's Silenus conversion — built in South Africa by the overlanding specialists, engineered specifically for the Grenadier. The wedge pops open on gas struts in seconds, you climb up from inside the cabin, and your bedding stays made while you drive. Close it up and the truck reads almost factory.
A real bed, not a bolt-on
Sleeps two on an 8'6" × 3'10" foam mattress (72mm) that lives upstairs, made and ready. Access is from inside the vehicle — no ladder in the rain.
Built for weather
400gsm UV-resistant, double-layer waterproof canvas with sealed seams, three windows with blackout covers and mosquito nets, and a closed-cell insulated aluminum roof.
Up in seconds
Gas-strut pop-top opens as a fast one-person job, and with the bed stowed there's full standing height inside — change clothes or sort gear without crawling.
Wired for camp
USB-A and USB-C ports, interior and roof LED lighting, and solar-ready Anderson plugs built in. Factory roof power points retained.
Still carries gear
Integrated cargo rails and MOLLE mounting plates rated to 110 lbs keep the roof working as gear space, with optional load bars.
Still every inch a Grenadier
BMW 3.0L turbo inline-six, full-time 4WD with locking center diff, Safari windows, tow package rated 7,716 lbs, heated two-tone leather seats.
